I was chatting with my sis while waiting for the bus and suddenly I felt like just tersedar dari mimpi.

Me: Atik, esok dah Disember. Cepat gila. Lagi sebulan and am getting a year older! Acaner?

Achik: Ooo ek. Aku pun tak perasan. Hang dah jubli perak la nanti. Scaryyyyyy

Ok, when I came across that 'Jubli Perak' word, yes, I'm a lil bit scared..haha. Sama dengan umur company yang I keje sekarang ni. Wow.

Well, memang la we're getting older ye dak. Just what have I achieved being living in this world for almost 25 years? *Muhasabah please, Nadiah*

Last night, we as part of Kannal Group had an annual dinner at PJ Hilton. Since the group had been standing for 25 years this year, the night is specifically known as 25th Anniversary and Appreciation Night. This is my first annual dinner ever. (Well, dah this is my first job kan..hehe)

The theme was a smart casual; red & black. So semua pun melaram with that colours lah. I'm not really excited bout it so I just bought a mix & match clothes with red and black colour. Janji ikut theme. Siap pakai kasut kerja and my small greyish sling bag which I turned into handbag. Syukur sebab tak buat tema pelik-pelik cam Hollywood ke, masquerade ke..pheww.

Haaa..merah mak ngah tak we ols? Glamer rasa :P

For me, malam semalam tu tak la best sangat. Tapi kira dapat la experience macammana rupa annual dinner tu. Paling tak berkenan, the timing. Beriya kata start pukul 6 but ended up started at almost 8 pm. Penat we ols berdiri kat luar tunggu VIP yang very sesuka hati datang lambat. Important person la katakan. Kitorang ni kuli je. Been around Maghrib time pulak tu, makanya, ramailah yang 'uzur' dan tak solat. Surau kosong okeh. Tahniah sangat. Maklumlah dah touch up bagai kan.

Part makan ok-ok jugak je. Coz sempat makan starter and main dishes. By the time finished eating main course rehat kejap before nak continue with dessert. Ended up tak makan pun dessert coz takde orang yang bangun for makan dah. The food pun takdelah gempak tapi kenyang la. Tu yang penting.

Then, the performances. Ada ke patut ajak Winnie K? Bekas pemenang Asia Bagus katanya. Heyyyyy, zaman bila punya singer tu? Zaman kitorang kekanak Ribena kot. Suara ok la, boleh tahan tapi lagu-lagu yang dia nyanyi cam banyak sangat and satu macam je. Lagu Melayu plak rasa tak feel dia nyanyi coz pronunciation dia not very clear and tak feel gitu. Dah la seksi. Seksa tengok dia menari atas pentas tu.
Common la, sambut 25th years kot..ajak ler artis yang standard sikit alang-alang dah perabis banyak duit tu.

Lucky draw pulak boleh kasik puji sebab hadiah-hadiah very da bomb kebaboom. From the grand prize which is the trip to Korea to all those latest and canggih manggih gadgets; iPhone 5s, Galaxy tab 3, Samsung S4, dslr camera also alat kelengkapan rumah like aircond, water heater, lcd tv etc. Memang jadik impian dan idaman setiap insan yang hadir la untuk dapatkan. Being me, who is such an unlucky person coming to this kind of lucky draw and yang sewaktu dengannya..of course I didn't get any of those. *Cry*

Another session that make me cry dalam hati was the long services awards giving. Tak berkedip tengok the cheques amount yang the winners got. The employees got 20k while the directors got 70-150k. Just in one night, gedebuk! Dapat durian runtuh. How lucky eh. Well, yang tu takpe coz they really deserve it sebab most of them yang dah berkhidmat aroud 10 years gitu for the group. Pun ada jugak yang dah start keje situ when the group baru ditubuhkan dulu. Bravo to such loyal peoples. Aku yang baru 3-4 bulan ni pun haa..tak mampu der.

Anyway, I didn't go home with empty hands. Setelah terpaksa membuat tarian ngek ngok atas pentas dalam seminit sebab terkena dalam game 'passing the pisang' (ala-ala musical chair gitu). For this game, sape dapat pisang time the music stop, kena denda. Tapi pastu dapat la RM50 AEON voucher. Bolehlah dari tak dapat apa kan.

Pengubat jiwa lara. Gift door and voucher 50 hinggit. 

Being a group of company yang majoriti Non-Muslim, confirm-confirm la arak bertebaran dalam ball room itu. The music pun too loud..sakit kepala la. Since the event started late, it ended late jugaklah. Dalam pukul 12 tu, kami pun cabut balik while most of them still merasakan 'malam masih muda' and mula menari ala-ala di night club. Malaysian nowadays ya, is really influenced by western life style. Now, I feel culture shock kat my own so called tanah tumpah darahku.

Apapun, Happy 25th Anniversary to Kannal Group. Congrats on the excellence that you'd been achieved throughout these years. Thanks for giving me the chance to learn and develop my potential when no one wants to recognise it (even my 'beloved' sponsor ignores me sampai setahun menganggur).
